Coerver New York is proud to announce a number of goalkeeper specific training opportunity for players for the summer of 2022. We will be offering 5 Day Goalkeeper Camps for goalkeepers to develop their specialized positional skills in a safe and fun environment designed for goalkeepers 8-12 years old. Our Advanced Goalkeeper Camps are designed for goalkeepers 13 years old and up.
Programs are designed for both boys and girls ages 8-18 years old from clubs located throughout the Hudson Valley.
This program will be led by NSCAA Certified Goalkeeping Coaches as well as current and former collegiate goalkeepers.
Our Goalkeeper Camps will be focused on developing techniques in the following areas:
1. Shot blocking
2. Catch/ball handling
3. Reaction and anticipation
4. Footwork
5. Collapse and extension diving
6. Dealing with crosses/crossing
7. Dealing with breakaways
8. Distribution with hand and feet
9. Communication with back players/organization of the defense
Each Goalkeeper will receive a Camp T-Shirt & a Discount Coupon for L1 Goalkeeper Gloves.
