Coerver Youth Diploma 1 Hosted by the New York Red Bulls

On October 12 & 13, Coerver Coaching held a Youth Diploma 1 Course hosted by MLS club the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.  This two-day course was led by Coerver Co-Founder Charlie Cooke.  Over 60 youth coaches and soccer enthusiasts from across four states took part in the amazing learning opportunity.

Staff members from the Coerver New York Soccer Academy were on hand to assist Charlie and his staff over the course of the two days as well as gain more in-depth knowledge of the Coerver Method.  While this two-day course is merely a scratch of the surface into the history, methodology and practice of the Coerver Method, there is no better way to be introduced to Coerver than by listening to Charlie Cooke.

Shaun from Pennsylvania said of the course, "The Coerver Youth Diploma 1 Course offered a tremendous opportunity to develop coaching methods that prioritize the fundamental way young athletes learn.  The on-field instruction by Charlie Cooke was amazing.  Within 48 hours of attending the course I had implemented many of the drills and methods I learned with athletes from age 5 to 14.  The course taught me how to improve practice efficiency, allowing the athletes to get more touches on the ball. Best of all, the system is flexible allowing me to steadily increase the pressure and intensity of my practice while having fun."
