Youth Diploma

This Course has been developed by Coerver® Coaching co-founders Charlie Cooke and Alfred Galustian from over 30 years of knowledge and work around the world at all levels of the game, from grass roots to leading federations, clubs, managers and stars of International Football.

It is designed for all levels of coaches, from beginner to advanced, teachers or parents, to give them a greater understanding of how to plan & deliver more effective coaching sessions based on the Coerver® Coaching Philosophy.

Course Content

The Hybrid (part virtual & part in-person) course featuring "The World's #1 Soccer Skills Teaching Method" will be delivered in (4) 3 hour Modules. The Modules consist of lecture presentations followed by on field sessions. The on field sessions highlight the 5 Part DVD Session Planner and how to construct your sessions with it.

Course Curriculum

This Spring we will take a new approach to delivering this course to you as coaches. Our hybrid model will consist of 2 Zoom Classroom Sessions (Each about 2-3 hours in length consisting of 2 modules). These classroom sessions will be conducted live as well as recorded and sent to you to view at an alternative time if needed. Live participants will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the topics being discussed in each module. These Zoom Classroom sessions will take place the prior to an in-person on field day of sessions.

The 2 In-Person Field Session Day will each be about 2-3 hours on a consecutive Wednesday nights. The location of this In-Person Field Session Day will be located at a site in the Capital District (finalizing date & times currently). All participants are encouraged to take part as players during this sessions but it is not required. Coerver New York will also have local youth players to participate in the field sessions as well.
